YES! - Samaras Backs Off From Unconstitutional Anti Racism Bill

Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and his conservative New Democracy party have decided to back off from a very provocative anti racism law which was introduced by the (radical, Leftist and very pro-Turkey) DIMAR party. PASOK Socialist chief Evangelos Venizelos and Democratic Left (DIMAR) head Fotis Kouvelis, who almost always yield to whatever Samaras wants, are reportedly very disappointed that the PM has decided to back away from voting on tougher penalties for racist crimes, including assaults on immigrants.

In such a framework, Samaras scheduled a meeting with Venizelos and Kouvelis only days after meeting several conservative New Democracy officials who rightfully said that the bill isn’t necessary because there are already laws in place against racism, and they feared it could impede freedom of expression.

(Freedom of expression, as in denying the Greek genocides in Pontus and Asia Minor! While it totally violates the Greek Constitution!)

PASOK officials said that “no one has the right to influence Parliament with leaks,” referring to reports that ND officials had decided that the bill could (or rather should) be shelved or at least amended (because it violates the Greek Constitution). Following the same kind of criticism, DIMAR officials slammed the conservative party for what they said was yielding to protests against the bill by some Church officials.

(This is a stupid statement, since the bill not only offended the Greek Orthodox Church but 97 percent of the Greek population because it aims at rewriting modern Greek history!)

DIMAR officials also had the audacity to accuse Samaras of being afraid to confront the Golden Dawn party.

(This last statement by these wannabe pro-Turkey Leftists was indeed hysterical.)

On its part, SYRIZA said that the Greek Prime Minister's part is being a “hostage to far-right elements within its ranks” and called on the junior coalition partners to support the bill and not “confirm that they are beholden to Samaras and his far-right advisers.”

What all these idiotic, and totally lame-brain Leftist parties do not realize is that Samaras, or basically the conservatives, just like the Golden Dawn party, and even the Independent Greek party, are not only pro law-and-order they are also patriots, and would never engage in the rewriting of Greek history. And most importantly they would also never go against the Greek Constitution!

We are glad that Mr. Samaras decided to back off from this obviously scandalous and totally unconstitutional bill. He just gained our respect once again.
